150 Contemporary Issues

1 semester, ½ credit

Open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors

This course will survey the developments of current events on the local, state, national, and international levels. It will employ Newsweek, newspapers, internet, TV, and films to investigate the current state of affairs. The course will use geography when applicable. Student performance will be evaluated through testing, papers, presentations and projects. This class may be taken more than once with teacher approval.
