  • What To Do

    Fill out the Google Form with your choice. Read your selected title over the summer, and return to school next fall ready to interact with others who read your selected book. Many of the books on the list are available in your public library. Check there (physical or online) to read the book for free. If you prefer to buy your book, Neighborhood Reads is offering 10% off any book on the list if you say it’s for the Borgia Summer Reading.

  • Back-to-School Prep Days

    Back-to-School Prep Days will be Thursday, July 28, and Tuesday, August 2 in the main gym. This is when students can come and get their school photos taken by Fricke Studio and purchase their parking passes. Student-athletes will also receive Knight Out cards for the SFB Athletic Association fundraiser.

    Thursday, July 28th - 9-10 AM - Seniors only
    Thursday, July 28th - 10 - 11 AM - All students
    Tuesday, August 2nd - 9 - 11 AM - All students

    PHOTO INFO:
    For school photos, students should be clean-shaven and wear a nice top. No spaghetti straps or low-cut shirts should be worn. Young men should wear a shirt with a collar. Bottoms and shoes will not be visible in the photo.

    Seniors do not have to dress up for their prep day photo (see the parent newsletter for more info about senior portraits). If your child can't make it to either prep day, please contact Pam Tholen (pam.tholen@borgia.com) about a possible make-up day.
     
     
    PARKING PASS INFO:
    Parking passes are first-come, first-served, and cost $10. Students must have a valid driver's license to purchase a parking pass. Students need to know the make and model of their car as well as their license plate #.
    A classmate or family member may purchase a parking pass for a student if he/she can't make it to a back-to-school prep day.
  • Parent Meeting - Borgia Athletics

    There will be an informational parent meeting on Thursday, July 28th at 6 p.m. in our theatre for at least one parent whose child will be playing any sport this upcoming year. Fall sports coaches may be hosting their team parent meetings after the general meeting. All teams will have coaches there to answer any questions.
  • First Day of Fall Sports

    Monday, August 8 marks the official first day of practice for fall athletes! If you are unsure of your practice times before the start of school, please reach out to your coach.
  • Borgia New Parent Dinner - New Parent Orientation

    This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other parents and get to know members of our faculty and staff. The dinner is for parents of any incoming freshmen or transfer students, followed by Borgia 101: New Parent Orientation on Wednesday, August 10th. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. in the Borgia Cafeteria.

  • Freshman Orientation (Mandatory)

    Beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12, freshmen will go to each class to familiarize themselves with the school and their teachers. Lunch will be provided and students can dress down.
  • Luke 18 Retreat (Mandatory)

    The Luke 18 Retreat will begin at approximately 1 p.m. on Friday, August 12, and will end on Saturday, August 13 with Mass being celebrated at 7 p.m. in the main gym at Borgia. All families are encouraged to attend Mass with their children. Much more info about the Luke 18 Retreat will be sent out at a later date.
  • Freshman Strategies for Success Day (Mandatory)

    Strategies for Success takes place on Monday, August 15. Freshmen should report to school at 8:00 a.m. and wear their school uniforms. The Strategies for Success course contains essential lessons for the beginning of high school, including iPad orientation.
  • First Days of School for All Students

    The first day of school for all students is Tuesday, August 16. The first two days of school, August 16 and August 17, will have a 12:30 dismissal.
  • Freshman Parent Coalition Meeting (Mandatory)

    This meeting is mandatory for at least one parent/guardian of freshman students in the Archdiocese. They are required to attend this meeting focused on the dangers students can experience in high school and how to avoid them. Communication was mailed to new families in late May 2022 with various dates that provided options for attendance. The only one provided in Franklin County is at our school on September 7, 2022, from 7 - 8 p.m. in our theater. This meeting is for parents/guardians only.
School Uniforms
We have updated our uniform shirts and uniform outerwear! With rebranding comes many changes, including our uniform logo. All uniform items with the current logo will be grandfathered in for current students. Incoming freshmen (and current students that wish to do so) should order uniform tops with our new logo.

The updated order forms are located in our main office or can be viewed on this page. You can also order shirts online via our vendors' websites (see their links on the order forms).

Required Health Forms
Please complete your Privit Registration and Physical Evaluation Form prior to the start of the new school year. The Privit registration and physical must be completed before a student is allowed to participate in any sport, marching band, or auxillary.
Campus Food Service
Our school cafeteria is serviced by Food Service Consultants. Students will receive a meal card to use for transactions; they do not pay for food or drink with cash. FSC uses an online payment system called My School Bucks that allows parents to make deposits to their child's meal account online or via a mobile app. Parents can also check balances, review transaction history, and receive low-balance alerts. Deposits do have a per transaction convenience fee. Parents may choose to make deposits with a check instead. Checks should be made out to Food Service Consultants and can be sent to school with their child or dropped off at the main office. Parents can still sign up at www.myschoolbucks.com to set up their child's account and view balances and transactions even if they pay with a check.
Christian Service
If you are an incoming freshman and have started accruing Christian service hours, great! You will be able to start using our logging app after we get you set up in the system this August. Until then, you may keep track of any qualifying hours on a sheet of paper, and we will help you enter them during orientation. For more information, please visit our Christian Service page!
