Shadowing is one of the best ways for prospective students to experience a day in the life of a student at St. Francis Borgia Regional High School. Our students, faculty, and staff will strive to make your child feel welcome and to provide a positive and meaningful experience for him or her. While shadowing, your child will have the opportunity to attend classes with our current students, enjoy lunch in our delicious and nutritious cafeteria, and tour our entire campus. It’s a great “sneak peek” of all that Borgia can offer your child.
We typically encourage students to shadow in the spring of their 7th grade year or in the fall of their 8th grade year. If you live in the Washington Deanery and your child is in 8th grade at a parochial school, he or she will attend with his or her class in the fall.
We allow students to shadow whenever it best fits your schedule, provided we are in session on a regular school day.
Just call Moira Vossbrink at 636-239-7871, ext. 197, or email email@example.com to schedule a day.
We typically assign students to host your child based on similar interests. If you would like to request a particular Borgia student, please let Mrs. Vossbrink know while scheduling.
We want your child to be comfortable. We do allow blue jeans with an appropriate shirt. Please keep in mind that we are a Catholic high school and our current students will be in uniform, so we ask that your child’s attire be respectful. If your child is visiting with his or her class, school uniforms may be required.
We ask that shadowing students arrive in the Admissions Office by 7:45 am. The Admissions Office is the first door on the left as you enter the main lobby. Students will be available for pick up at 2:30 pm.
No need to worry! We will provide lunch for your child in our cafeteria. Your child will have many choices.
