| Purpose: | N.H.S. provides students an opportunity to give service to the school and community. It also assists students to gain a positive attitude toward service and work as a team on service projects. |
| Membership: | Membership is by invitation only. Induction is the last Wednesday in April. The club is open to students who fulfill the follwing criteria: 1. A Sophomore, Junior or Senior with a 3.5+ cumulative GPA, 2. Must do 3 or more service projects and must be current on service hours, i.e. 25 hrs minimum per year, 3. Experience in one elected office and membership in two or more organizations or a minimum of a "3" in faculty voting, 4. A person of integrity, positive behavior, cooperation, and ethics, 5. Must participate in club service projects and must attend meetings. |
| Meetings: | Club meetings are held during seminar. Meetings before school may be held if needed. |
| Activities: | N.H.S. assists with Freshman registration, operates the coat room at the dinner auction, recognizes Teachers' Appreciation Week, Chili-Supper, Phone-a-thon, and serves the school community. |
| Officers: | President: Preside over club meetings Organize and attend all activities Meet with club moderator Hold officer meetings when needed Vice-President: Assist the President Preside over meetings and activities when the president is absent. Secretary: Take role at all meetings and activities Write minutes of each meeting Treasurer: Keep record of club finances Any member may run for these offices. Election for next year's officers will be held toward the end of this school year. |
