A “trial test” will be given from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The test will be given under standard ACT conditions, but the score will not count. The afternoon session will consist of “breakout” sessions where students will go into groups of approximately 20-25. Instructors will give tips on how students can do their best in each of the subtest areas and answer questions about particular items students missed on the trial test. Students must have pre-registered and paid the $15 fee. · If a student plans to go on to college, we highly recommend that he/she take the ACT test in the junior year. The remaining two test dates are April 10 and June 12. The next test available to students will be in September of their senior year. If you have questions about the best test date for your child, please call the Guidance Office. ALL STUDENTS: · As we receive job opportunities for the summer, the openings are posted on a bulletin board outside the Guidance Office. · There are several summer enrichment programs available to students in the summer.
