Knightly News Live!

Broadcasting news sports, interviews, weather and reporting on a whole host of activities that take place on and around the Borgia campus, the Knightly News Live! is shown to students, teachers, staff and visitors four days a week at 8:05 in the morning.

The show is written and produced by students in a journalistic setting. Students also perform all the technical work from directing, live switching, camera operation, digital effects and sound design.

Students also serve as the reporters, anchors and other on-air talent for this award winning show that delivers news and information through a variety of technological means that include live streaming remotes, pre-recorded segments and animations.

The show incorporates real world technology including digital video cameras, Final Cut Pro editing software, Black Magic streaming hardware and a recently acquired NewTek tricaster.  Students also have access to a complete Mac computer lab with a variety of motion graphics, editing and animation software for their use in creating projects for the show.
