To gain greater appreciation of the environment, to pursue interest in science, explore science outside of school and to keep the student body informed of scientific issues. |
| Membership: |
The club is open to all students. Those wishing to join should keep in mind that field trips are taken on Saturdays and Sundays. |
| Meetings: |
Refer to agenda or listing posted in homeroom. |
| Activities: |
Field trips, Fund-raising to support an environmental cause (if possible), and learning about ecology through outdoor lab activities (stream team). |
| Officers: |
President: Preside over all meetings - Attend field trips, Help plan trips and solicit ideas, Meet with club advisor prior to meetings Secretary: Take roll at all meeting - Write the minutes of each meeting. These officers will be elected at the second meeting each year. Only Juniors and Seniors who do not hold an office in another club, are not in Health Occupations, and were active members in the Ecology Club during the previous year may run for an office in the Ecology Club.
