    St. Francis Borgia Regional High School is much more than just a school. We are a family of students, parents, and educators who learn together, pray together, laugh together, work together, and grow together.     What is the average class size and student-to-teacher ratio?

    The average class size is 20; the student-to-teacher ratio is 20:1.

    While we adhere to the teachings of the Catholic faith, we do welcome students and families of all faiths. We welcome students of any race, color, sex, and national or ethnic origin.

    Yes, Borgia accepts transfer students on an individual basis. If you are interested in transferring, please contact the Admissions Office at 636-239-7871, ext. 197.

    Borgia offers a college preparatory curriculum. We have the capability to customize academic schedules to meet the needs of all students. From basics to honors classes, our goal is to find the appropriate level of challenge for each student.     Absolutely! We offer 81 hours of college credit through St. Louis University, University of Missouri and East Central College. Please use the following link for a complete listing.

    What type of schedule do students follow?

    Borgia students follow an eight block schedule. Students enroll in eight classes, with four classes on blue days and four classes on the alternating gold days. Each class period lasts 80 minutes.

    How does Borgia support students with diagnosed learning disabilities?

    We have a full time Learning Consultant who works with students and parents with mild to moderate special needs to define a schedule and a strategy to achieve success in the classroom. Please contact Dianna Meyer for additional information at dianna.meyer@borgia.com.

    Does each Borgia student have an iPad?

    Yes, we require all students to have their own iPad. We currently recommend students who are purchasing an iPad to invest in an iPad 4 or newer with a minimum of 32GB. The iPad Mini is acceptable. Special financing is available at some area banks. Please contact Borgia for additional information.

    What is Seminar?

    Borgia has a half hour at the end of each school day from 2:30 to 3:00 pm during which all faculty are required to be in their classrooms to assist students and administer make-up tests. Seminar is evidence of our commitment to prioritizing student learning and understanding.
