Borgia Fund 2009-2010(formerly Annual Giving)
St. Francis Borgia Regional High School is all about developing the spiritual and academic portion of prepared life-long learners. Each year, we rely on the generosity of alumni, parents of alumni, current parents and friends of Borgia to support our mission through the Borgia Fund. Today there are over 7200 alumni whose lives have been formed here at SFBRHS in an environment nurtured by values and faith. Your contribution demonstrates a significant commitment on your part to SFBRHS, where we seed the future with committed and dedicated leaders.
Last year, through the generosity of donors, we were able to raise over $150,000. The 2009-2010 tuition schedule challenges us with a near $2,000 gap per student between the actual cost to educate a child and the current tuition.
As one who values the quality of a Catholic education, we hope you will make St. Francis Borgia a charitable priority in your life by making a gift to our Annual Giving Fund by June 30, 2010. Participation is truly what matters as it demonstrates to everyone how important a shared responsibility like this can make a difference in the life of our school. Your generosity, at any level, remains essential in our efforts to help us continue the tradition of excellence and the mission that defines St. Francis Borgia Regional High School.
Look for our 2009 Annual Report to arrive in this mail late October. This publication honors our donors and highlights the many fundraising efforts that support our mission to provide an affordable Catholic education for those who seek it.
How to Give
The Borgia Fund donations are tax deductible. To contribute to the 2009-2010 drive, you may pledge immediately and pay anytime prior to June 30, 2010. In addition to cash donations, you may want to consider contributing appreciated securities, this type of gift could be advantageous to you as you may avoid capital gains taxes and reduce your taxable income by deducting the current full market value of the securities.
What are Matching Gifts?
Your gift could more than DOUBLE! Many corporations match gifts of employees. Usually a gift is matched 1:1, but often times it is 2:1 or 3:1. Simply complete the matching gift form available at your company’s Human Resources Office and submit for payment.
