SFBRHS Admissions

You are about to make an important decision that will impact the next few years of your life. Where will you (or your student) go to high school? We encourage you to take time to learn as much as you can about the Borgia Difference.

Borgia Promotes the Mind

At Borgia, we are committed to educating all of our students. Realizing that every student possesses different levels of academic ability, our programs are designed to meet those needs. From basic to honor classes, Borgia students are challenged and motivated learners.

For the fifth year in a row, SFBRHS has once again scored well above the state and national averages on the ACT test. We are an open enrollment college preparatory school that offers a comprehensive curriculum, an eight-block schedule, student advisory system, learning consultant, and a state-of-the-art media center. Our students can earn over 40 hours of college credit through St. Louis University and East Central College.

As outlined in the Mission Statement, which can be found on the Homepage, it is one of Borgia’s goals to graduate “technologically prepared lifelong learners.” With this in mind, Borgia makes technology an intricate part of the educational process. In order to stay on the cutting edge of technology we offer a wireless campus, all classrooms are equipped with a wireless projector, and all teachers have wireless tablet personal computers. Although a personal computer is not required to attend SFBRHS, students are encouraged to bring personal laptops to school. In addition to the media center with 30 desktop computers, we have over 50 laptop computers and a computer lab with 30 “thick clients” available for all students’ usage. This classroom technology, coupled with the extensive computer training of the faculty, makes for an excellent progressive learning environment in the school.

Borgia Promotes the Spirit

Here at Borgia, we freely live our faith. Every morning we begin our day with prayer and the pledge of allegiance. We offer weekly mass, reconciliation services once each semester, monthly all school masses, religious retreats, prayer days, four years of theology, and Christian service trips. In addition, our students provide over 15,000 Christian Service hours annually to our local communities. We are conscious and active stewards of the many gifts God has provided for us.

Borgia Promotes Tradition

Borgia’s athletic teams, theatre department, band and choral program, and video productions department all provide a rich tradition of excellence. Numerous state championships and district honors have been achieved by our athletes and students. In addition, we offer a variety of clubs and organizations for our students to join. We encourage our students to become active in order to build lifelong friendships, learn responsibility, and be a member of the Borgia family.

Enrollment

Currently, 540 young men and women attend SFBRHS. We draw from over 20 elementary schools. Our students come from both public and private schools in Franklin, Warren, Crawford, Jefferson, St. Charles and St. Louis County.

We are more than just a school. We are a community of students, parents, and educators, who learn together, pray together, laugh together, work together, and grow together. Borgia is a family we invite you join.
